I undertook a large cattle barn , high pressure misting system in Texas. I looked everywhere for help and expertise in the field.
I ran into Jeff Merrick at Smart Mist USA. Jeff and I designed, from scratch a high pressure misting system encompassing over 60 fans blowing mist at 1000 PSI! It dropped the barn temperature over 25 degrees! The cattle are comfortable even in the baking Texas heat.

It was very pleasant working with Jeff and Smartmist USA during both the design phase and the installation phase of the project. I put in two compressor pumps, about 40 to 50 nozzles spread out over the two systems, plenty of stainless steel color matched tubes along with various fittings. I had a few questions along the way and Jeff was very quick to respond every time. Shipment of everything was quick and precisely accurate. The installation took a bit of time, but overall it was pretty easy and I found the components all to be of very high-quality.
It is magic, the transformation it has given our pergola, swing chair and covered dining table. I can easily turn a 95 to 110° day into a pleasant afternoon now that I have the system installed. Even though it cost a noticeable amount of money, it is truly worth it and I would highly recommend it.
It has been about two weeks and we 've used our mister system.Three times and it is working great. I had done another review and to reiterate the support was excellent. The person helping me looked at my picture I uploaded for my patio and thought what I was doing might not work. Spent a lot of chat time with me. Suggested fans, but my situation would have been the noise and the cost. We have a patio with three walls, and only one side that is open. In the end, I have the SM050 and 5 inch water filtration canister from them. We will continue to see how it works. But I have had many people comment how cold it gets in this room and the install I did. I think the company would approve my install. Very happy

The system was fairly easy to install and Jeff was quick to answer all my questions, and there were many both before purchase and a few before install. We are pleased with our system but have one very big heart ache with the company. About one week after purchasing, the price of the system dropped $700 dollars. Jeff did give us a military discount, but we still paid almost $500 dollars more.

Bought the high pressure system after trying a cheap big box store brand. This is actual mist or fog that cools the entire patio and surrounding area. You won’t regret putting one up! Combine it with a swamp cooler and it’s like AC outside.
Jeff is the best! He and I constructed a misting system for a show barn in Texas. When we had problems Jeff and his experience came to the rescue. With his help we were able to lower the temperature in the barn by 20 degrees. Good job Jeff!

I was shopping for a misting kit and ended up deciding on this model based on the many solid reviews. Granted the price was great as well but the comments about how the owner handled things personally really impressed me.
I opted for the stainless tubing with a couple extra fittings For a custom install and it went flawless. Everything is plug and play so it all fits together fast and easy. I needed to make two custom bends to fit some corners and was able to use a simple bending tool I had on hand for doing brake lines.
We tried the system out a couple nights ago at 85F and ended up turning it off an hour after the sun went down because we were all actually shivering, so the system works great. The water temperature plays a part in total cooling so I’m thinking of using the flexible tubing that came with the kit to build a cooling coil inside a bucket I can load up with ice.
So, these high pressure systems are not cheap but they do work, and they work well.
P.S. It’s worth noting that one of the final selling points for us was the idea that the misting system would also reduce the amount of flying pests in the area. We didn’t run the system long but i wasn’t bothered by any of the tiny little gnats that plague our property. Once I shut down the system, we were inundated once again and we called it a night shortly after. That added bonus is just icing on the cake and we could t be more pleased.
We look forward to many years of service and are very thankful to have gained several more weeks of enjoyment from our firepit.
Couldn’t ask for anything better. The system was easy to put up and it instantly cools down my patio. Customer service was also great, Jeff literally answered my questions in less than 5 minutes via email.
They have helped me immensely with buying correct parts for my system, the online chat was very effective and solved my power problem!....

HIGH quality, easy installation, prompt and knowldegable owner. Had to take the whole thing down to paint the house; re-installed very easy due to the heavy build of the parts.

Easy install, but when turned on "1" hurricane wind!! Unbelievable wind power!! Won't worry about bugs landing anywhere near my rear deck!! Great product!!

Fantastic misting system! Very happy. It came with everything needed for easy set-up, and the quality of all the components are top notch. The App works great, making it very convenient to turn the system on and off from your phone. Would definitely recommend.
The system has been great and completely changes being out side on hot days. The team even called and reviewed my order with me when I made a mistake so every thing worked the first time. Install was very quick and easy.
We purchased the unit last year to take us through the Phoenix summer. It kept us cool on the back patio dropping the temperature at least 10 degrees. That’s huge when it’s 115. Jeff always answers the phone and helps with questions. Good unit
The company that installed my ss drip line wanted $2800 to replace my old pump with a high pressure one. The SM-100 was well under half of that price and not only works great, but looks way nicer than the industrial one that was offered. Only small item was I was unaware of the length of plastic line required between the pump and the beginning of the misters. Smart Mist helped figure out a way around that requirement. Very satisfied.
