Smart Mist USA's Warranty is as follows assuming all necessary maintenance is tended to and oil is changed according to the manual guidelines. In addition, oil and water seals must be replaced according to the timeline offered in the owners manual. We will repair or replace, at our sole discretion, any defective items for the following time period

Pump:  For SM-050, 050S, SM-100, SM-150, SM 200, SM-300, SM-500, SM-700 :  One year or 800 hrs. from date of purchase, whichever comes first.. For SM-025E and SM-050E 120 days from date of purchase.

 

All other components except nozzles: 6 months

Nozzles are consumable items and not covered

Warranty Conditions

Before returning any system or parts, please call us to see if we can resolve the issue. Often, we can resolve the issue without the need to return the pump. If we cannot solve the problem,  request a repair here : https://www.smartmistusa.com/pages/request-a-repair . The freight costs are the responsibility of the customer. After receiving the product, we will assess the problem to determine, at our discretion, if the problem is a manufacturer defect. If so determined, we  will fix or replace ( at our own discretion ) the item(s) and return. No refunds can be issued for used items.

Items not covered by the warranty

  • Damage caused by improper installation
  • Damage caused by product neglect or abuse including failure to change oil and or water/oil seals at the recommended interval
  • Damages caused by acts of Nature or God including items damaged by hard freeze.
  • Damages to property or other financial loss beyond the purchase price of the products
  • Damage caused by using the pump for other than its intended reason which is to pump only water. Damage caused by using insecticide with the system.
  • Damage to pump or nozzles due to water issues including poor water quality from wells or the use of hard (calcium) water. If you live in an area with hard water, be sure to always use a phosphate filter to reduce calcium buildup in system parts. Though this is the best defense against potential problems, no filter is guaranteed to prevent all potential water issues. 
  • Damage due to leaving pump in direct sun or rain. Damage caused by leaving the pump out in freezing temperatures, or damage to tubes, fittings,  or nozzles due to freezing water. Be sure to bring the pump inside at the end of the season and drain the lines of water. Remove nozzles to prevent implosion due to expanding residual water 
  • Damage due to leaving pump in the rain. Always keep the pump in a protected area,
  • Issues such as noise level or clogging nozzles are not considered defects
  • Any modification or attempted repairs of the unit or accessories by the end user
  •  This is a Limited Warranty. It covers the product only and the extent of the coverage is limited to the cost of the product itself.
  •  EXCEPT FOR THE WARRANTY HEREIN, IN NO CIRCUMSTANCE SHALL SMART MIST USA BE LIABLE TO CUSTOMER OR ANY OTHER PARTY FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF USE OF ITS PRODUCTS. IN NO CIRCUMSTANCE SHALL SMART MIST USA'S  MONETARY DAMAGES EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE SYSTEM.. ANY CUSTOMER PURCHASING AND/OR USING SMART MIST USA'S PRODUCTS HEREBY AGREES TO THE ABOVE TERMS.
  • Buyer agrees the sole remedy for breach of any and all warranties and for manufacturers liability (including without limitation, liability for negligence) will be limited to the repair or replacement of product.
