Every Smart Mist USA app-controlled pump ships with a stainless steel mesh sediment filter — but sediment alone isn't the threat. In areas with hard water, calcium deposits build up inside your misting nozzles and pump valves, causing permanent, irreversible damage. A standard sediment filter will not remove calcium from your water.

For areas with hard water or high calcium, Smart Mist USA's ScaleX filtration line is essential. Our 10" upgraded filter canisters come in four configurations — GOOD, BETTER, PREMIUM, and BEST — so you can match your filtration level to your actual water quality. Note: Because water quality is beyond our control, our warranty does not cover pump or nozzle damage caused by calcium (scale) buildup.
