This is the Ultra Premium upgrade for filtration. Cartridges are included. Easy " push to connect " fittings on either side make hook up a snap.
Stage 1 is a 5 micron pre filter. In this configuration, the stage 1 pre-filter will extend the life and increase the efficiency of the much more expensive stage 2 Scalex Pro 1026.
Stage 2 is the Scalex Pro 1026 cartridge. This cartridge provides additionasl 5 micron sediment filtration. In addition, it uses catalytic carbon which will remove chlorine, chloramine and ammonia Lastly, , it offers stage one of scale ( hard water , calcium ) filtration. The patented media treats for hardness far better than other filters on the market.
Stage 3 is the Scale Slayer cartridge. This cartridge is all business for scale prevention. It must be used in conjunction with the 1026 cartridge as the second stage. It takes scale prevention to the next level for areas with especially hard water.
Introducing our new Scalex Pro 10" cartridges. This is the newest technology in water filtration for misting applications. It uses proprietary ingredients imported from Germany. Though expensive, it addresses issues that traditional hard water filtration could not. Whereas traditional Hexaphospate will treat water up to 5 grains ( 17.1 ppm ) of hardness, the Scalex Pro will treat water up to 20 grains !
Scale ( hard water calcium deposits ) will build up inside of the nozzles and pump. It becomes a rock hard substance that can ruin your pump and cause the nozzles to become blocked. If you have hard water, filtration is crucial
