This is the premium upgrade for filtration. The first canister holds our premium 5 micron sediment filter. The second cannister holds the premium Scalex Pro cartridge. Cartridges are included. Easy " push to connect " fittings on either side make hook up a snap.
Introducing our new Scalex Pro 10" cartridge. This is the newest technology in water filtration for misting applications. It uses proprietary ingredients imported from Germany. Though expensive, it addresses issues that traditional hard water filtration could not. Whereas traditional Hexaphospate will treat water up to 5 grains ( 17.1 ppm ) of hardness, the Scalex Pro will treat water up to 20 grains !
In addition to calcium filtration , Scalex Pro uses catalytic carbon which will remove chlorine, chloramine and ammonia. These are added for water treatment in some cities and can cause premature wear of rubber seals in the pump and nozzles. Your pump is protected no matter what part of the country the filter is installed. In the center of the filter is the scale media, which eliminates and prevents scale from forming.
The Scalex Pro, is compatible with all of our misting systems . It is standard on all commercial misting pumps and kits. It introduces no chemicals into the water. and needs to be replace only once per season.
UPDATE: Our ScaleX Pro filters will dissolve scale buildup in older pumps which have existing scale buildup !

We are very happy with our Smart Mist USA system. We purchased it in the U.S.A. and brought it with us to our retirement home in central Mexico. Jeff has been outstanding with his customer service to answer any questions I had about the system. It works perfectly and cools our patio which is high desert at 6,000’ above Mean Sea Level. We highly recommend Smart Mist USA. Our only wish is that it was WiFi and Apple HomeKit compatible so we could give it Seri voice commands. However, the bluetooth app works as advertised.
I installed the system myself and found it pretty easy. The system is much more than I expected. It's making our Palm Springs summers eating outside pleasant again. One unexpected benefit is that the mist inhibits mosquitos and other flying pests from attacking us during dinner! Wow! This was worth its weight in gold!
The pump and nozzle combination works perfectly as advertised. The $429 pump covers a small home patio perfectly. What I like is the table graphic displaying exactly how many nozzles of each size a given pump can support. If you are looking to pay the right price for your target area and are done using cheap pumps, Smart Mist USA is the brand to go with that gets you good value for your dollar. I also like the ability to mix and match different nozzles that you can buy individually.
This has been the perfect solution for my BBQ pit during those blazing hot Sacramento days. It’s priced right, easy to install, and so far, solid as a rock.
The customer service has been outstanding, and replacement parts were readily available when needed. Highly recommend!

I installed this system in Yuma AZ. Easy to install and works great. The best part about it is the flexibility. You can reconfigure it with just a little flexible tubing. I put a back up row on a valve. Usually don’t need them but great to use on the really hot days. The pump is a little loud so I put it on under the house. Also can’t come close to beating the price of you one installed.
