Stainless Steel Vs. Nylon tubing

What are the pros and cons of using stainless steel vs. nylon tubing?

Both types of tubing will support the 1000psi high pressure produced by our pumps. But that is about where the similarities end. The best way to compare the tubing is with the following chart:

Approximately 90% of the systems we sell are stainless steel. About half of those end up buying stainless steel tubes afterwards and changing out their tubing. There are circumstances where nylon tubing is preferred. They include:

1. Attaching to a non rigid surface  such as a shade sail

2. Attaching to a curved surface

Remember that no matter your nozzle tubing, the line from the pump to your first nozzle must always be nylon to avoid shaking.
