FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Q: Where should I mount my pump?
  • A: In an area that is protected from sun and rain. Examples are a under a counter or sink or in a nearby shed. Never mount the pump inside of your home. Be sure any enclosure has good ventilation. It can also be set on a pad as long as it is not in the sun and rain. In any case, at the end of the season, bring the pump inside and drain the lines of water.
  • Q: What is the winterization procedure ?
  • A: Remove the last 3 nozzles in the system. Disconnect the high pressure line from the pump and attach the drain fitting, You should see water draining from the end of the tubing where you attached the drain fitting. In addition if an air compressor is available: Attach an air gun ( with a rubber tip) to your air hose, Disconnect the water fitting from your pump. Push your air gun against the water fitting at the pump. The air pressure will blow the water out of the lines. Bring the pump inside for the winter.
  • Q: Is nylon tube or stainless tube the best?
  • A: It depends on your situation. If you are dealing with an area in which there are not straight rigid beams etc. , or you will be draping the tubing between 2 or more points, you will want to use nylon tube. Nylon tube can still be used on a structure with straight rigid beams as well. The finished look is not as pleasing as with the stainless steel tubing due to the slight droop in the tubing between nozzles. The stainless steel pipe offers a cleaner more professional look.
  • Q: How faraway from the first nozzle can the pump be?
  • We recommend no more than 50'. If you plan on using the app function, you will need to make sure you are in range for the bluetooth connection.
  • Q: Why are there no screws provided with the mounting clips?
  • A: The screws you will need will depend on the surface you are attaching to. Wood screws or sheet metal screws would be the most common. Use stainless steel screws to avoid rust stains from occurring.
  • Q: What direction should I point the nozzles ?
